I had a couple of Spanx products, they are ok but I have always been looking for something that would put my whole body together, so I don't have to worry about if my belly fat would show like a muffin top.I got this product recently and had already fallen in love with it. It worked perfectly with all my dresses. It makes me look like I have lost at least 10 lbs.I hope that they have more colors to choose from. The one I got is black; I would also like to have a lighter color.

The Body Shaper runs on the smaller size. I got the plaid pattern, size small, and it was VERY snug. I had to suck my breath in order to barely get it on. I'm 5 feet and 99 lbs. The fabric is smooth and feels nice against the body. The pattern and color look stylish. It would be perfect inside a little cocktail dress. I wouldn't wear it out by itself. Consider it as a high class Sphanx that smooths out and tucks in the areas you want to hide. The price is good for the nice, quality product. I recommend the product. If you decide to buy it, get it a size bigger than what you normally wear.

I bought this for an event and it did absolutely nothing. Why? Well, because I made the foolish mistake of believing the other reviews, I would normally wear a small but a size 2 girl reviewed and said the medium was SO TIGHT- so I ordered a large and it was ridiculous, it was just a regular old lip at that point...if you want shapewear order down or true, not up- the other reviewers are crazy, didn't really want shapewear to start with or don't know what shapewear is. I'm 5'7" and weigh 130# and a small would probably have actually done what I wanted (make it look like I hadn't just gained 15 lbs.), as it was I had to end up wearing my spanx and hike them up so they didn't show below my dress.. Thanks a lot other reviewers!
