I ordered this bag to replace a beloved beach bag that I finally had to toss. There is lots of room and it's very sturdy. There is a zippered pocket and two open pockets - and I would like to have more and deeper pockets. My old beach bag would fold flat in half and pack very nicely. This one, with it's sturdy bottom, wouldn't fit in my suitcase after I had everything else packed. It's ok - I will pack differently next time, putting some things inside the bag and packing it at the bottom rather than the top. .
