I bought this shoe for my twin toddlers - size 4 for my girl and size 5 for my boy. These are very cute shoes - durable, stylish and with great soles for running around on the playground - but they take a while to break in. Out of the box, they are stiff and I had to work them for a good half hour to "soften" it up enough to even get the shoe on their foot. The first few wears, my kids would fuss because it was a bit uncomfortable (and they'd pitch a fit in the car because they couldn't figure out how to remove the shoe), and they'd be a bit wobbly on their feet because it's a bit clunky. After about two weeks of daily wear, they are finally settling into the shoes and don't fuss quite as much anymore. These shoes run quite small. The size 4 for my girl is JUST BARELY longer than her old size 3 shoes and way smaller than other size 4 shoes that we have. They are also quite narrow, so bubbas with wide feet might have issues with it.Overall, nice shoe for the price.

I ordered these shoes for my 15 month year old daughter who needed some substantial shoes to play outside in. The shoes that I actually received were slightly different than the photo in the description. In the description the shoes had a piece of velcro on the top of the shoes, these didn't. The shoes I received were still very cute, so I kept them. The problem with these shoes is that the velcro on the one side of the laces that holds the shoes closed, does not stay in place. The velco would not stick and her shoes would come off outside and your socks would be destroyed.

The shoe fits well and is easy to put on and take off. It also is sturdy and has very good traction.
