I purchased this belt because it seemed like a reasonable price for a leather belt ($25). I have some difficulty buying belts that fit, as I wear a women's size 12/14. This belt comes in a variety of sizes, from small to plus sizes. It seems very sturdy, being made of thick stiff leather (softening a bit with wear) and a thick metal clasp. There are 5 notches on the belt. It fits well and seems to be of fine quality. I read in other reviews that the belt ran large, but that was not true in my experience. It runs true to size. I ordered a large because I wear a 12/14 and the large is supposed to fit a size 12/14. I am wearing the belt on the last (largest) or second-to-last notch.

The Carhartt belts are absolutely perfect.I can't seem to get enough of them.I am a size 10 in jeans and these belts were true to their size.I got medium since size chart says medium is for 8/10 and i can wear them on the last hole on a bad day where i am feeling bloated or stuffed and second to last on good days.The belt is worth every penny. It isn't cheaply made and a great accessory.

Love this product! I originally ordered a larger size, but had to return it for a smaller size. Otherwise I'm very happy with my purchase.
