My feet had to adjust to the boot after wearing sandals all summer but all in all I think I made a good choice when I bought these. I can walk in them without great discomfort because the heal is not extremely high.

I have been looking for some dressier work boots to wear with pants to my office and these are pretty cute in the picture, so I recently ordered them in a 10.5. This is an unusual size, so I was happy to find them. Anyone who is a 10.5 knows that it is not the same as a 10 or an 11, yet so many manufacturers pretend we don't exist. So, plus one for Rockport.They are pretty true to size, if not a tiny bit snug. They could easily pass for a 10. These boots have a rubber sole, which is great for inclement weather. I wore them in the cold rain the first day and they were very snug, toasty, secure and non-slip on the wet pavement and stairs.The leather is a reasonable quality, but I am not a fan of the seam on the upper ankle. I am actually not a fan of the ankle area at all. On the top of the foot, above my bridge, it is very gappy. This is a zipping boot, so I rather expected it to conform to the general shape of my foot and be fitted in the ankle, as the photo appears. It is tight and baggy in the wrong places at the top and bigger at the ankle than they appear in the photo. I would not wear these boots with the ankles exposed, like with a shorter skirt. You can do much better with something else.I suppose fortunately, the boots look fine with my work pants (ankles covered) and they are comfortable to wear. It rained the first day after they arrived and I went with these over my raggedy old black pumps. $160 still is more than I think these boots are worth, but there is a lot to be said for shopping from the sofa at midnight in my pj's, home delivery, free shipping, and no tax. I love the site!

These boots are comfortable and look great! The heel is the right height and wide enough I don't trip over myself!
