I am a therapeutic massage therapist, so am on my feet for many hours each day. For the past 10 years, I've worn supportive athletic shoes and arch supports to work. I love Danskos outside of my office, but the heavy, tall, non-flexible soles on most of their shoes are difficult for me to work in. Until now! These Elise sneakers are both adorable and super-comfortable. I've worn them to the office for a week, and my feet, low legs, and low back feel great. Thank you thank you thank you, Dansko for this new addition to your line!!!

I am a big fan of Dansko shoes and wear them almost every day. These shoes, however, were not what I expected. They did have a good arch insole in them but I did not feel the shoes offered much support as I like my sneakers to have. I ordered the size I always wear with socks as opposed to the ones I wear in the summer without socks. These shoes were very wide and long. My foot slid all back and forth as well as front to back in the shoes. This was definitely not a good fit for me and I chose to return them to the site. I was really disappointed to have to do this as when I opened the box I liked the looks of the shoes but the fit was not good for me.

I was so excited to see that Dansko came out with a good looking athletic shoe. I have been wearing Dansko exclusively for the past 6 years since I had developed plantar fasciitis. My feet are healed now of course but the comfort and stability of Dansko has just become the only style shoe I wear. I purchased the white pair of Elise and slipping my foot into them was like going home. The fit is true. The heel box is roomy but not loose like a clog. The toe box is roomy but secure.Just right for those who power walk. No breaking these in. Comfortable, well made. I'm going to purchase 2 more pair because unfortunately Dansko will over time discontinue a style. And I just love these!
