I had actually come online to purchase the designer glasses that provided the inspiration for these. When I conducted the search, however, I stumbled across this item. Well, I don't care one bit about the designer label, and taking into account the fact that I probably wouldn't want to wear these glasses a year from now, it made much more sense to spend $10 for the look I wanted instead of $200 for the look and the name. I'm certain the quality isn't the same, but I find that for the cost, these glasses are well made. They feel solid, well built, and are nice and dark to prevent the sun from hurting my eyes AND to hide my eyes so I can look around freely knowing no one will know what I'm looking at.I'm very satisfied with my purchase, and I appreciate the little pouch that's included. It isn't fancy, but it should be sufficient to keep other things in my purse from damaging the glasses.

Okay..like the others I was cruising the site to buy the Prada glasses that 'inspired' these and which list at $300 (and can be found on the site and elsewhere... for about $200,) and stumbled on these. Now, before someone rants about how bad and unsupportive it is to patronize knock-off artists: I will say that I DO buy the 'real deal' and DO drop some serious $$ on authentic designer glasses. Fair enough. I love sunglasses and have a nice little collection. These intrigued me but I was not convinced that I would want to invest. Buying this version let me: a) give my first pair to my beloved sister, and b) then get another pair so I can try them out for a test drive, so to speak to decide if I want the real deal for keeps at a higher price. These are not quite as nice as the real ones (duh!) but they LOOK as good. The hinges seem predictably cheap; the frames seem lighter (I did try the 'real' ones on at Nordies) but allegedly made of the same 'acetate' as the Pradas. A main visual difference is there is no Prada logo on the sides.....Hey, GREAT deal for the price. Fast free shipping, too. Enjoy! And if you love 'em and want realy 'keepers', go get the Pradas....win/win.

The sunglasses are really cute and I've received a lot of compliments about the swirl/baroque design on the side. But what makes these sunglasses even more worth it, not only is the price, but the customer service Triple Optic provided. I had ordered the sunglasses and according to the site was supposed to receive them on a certain day. It turns out, the estimated date was later than the actual arrival and I had "received" the package, but I really didn't. Basically someone had stolen the package and I did not receive my package.I had contacted Triple Optic and let them know of the situation, and they sent it to me again, free of charge.I was so thankful for how understanding they were and also how professional they were.Thank you Triple Optic!
