I love boots but that does not mean they are all comfortable. These boots are perfect! The side zipper allows the boots to fit like a glove, unlike step-in boots. I was ready for a pair of boots that required a good break-in period, but the leather on these is like butter. I also like that the inside of the boot is lined and has a bit of flannel on the top inside.I will say it would be a good idea to go to a store with Docs just to try the size out. I generally wear a size 7, but found the size 6 boot worked best for me. My only problem is that I bought black boots and now I want to buy a brown pair too!!!Thanks the site!

Although this is labeled as a woman's boot, it's a good fashion for men, too. I purchased the 9 UK in Brown. It took a little coaxing to get my foot into the boot, but once in, the support was good, the fit was correct (perhaps even a little roomy) and the leather has a generous yield, so it shouldn't need a lot of break-in. My wife likes them with my Utilikilt.

returned these boots. While they are well made and a very good quality product, they did not look the way I thought they would. They are very heavy and thick, they do not look like a woman's boot at all. They shipped too big, which made it worse, but it was so big around my foot, I felt like I was wearing a pair of my dad's military boots from the 1990's. Also the leather is very dull and unattractive. If you are looking for thick, clunky, military style boots, then these are great, but they are not feminine at all.
