I have been searching for over 2 years for a good purse with an outside pocket to dump my keys into. This purse is well made, beautiful and has many pockets. The sholder strap is thick and at times I wish it was thinner and moree flexible, but I do think this is the best purse I have run accross in a while.

The purse is attractive and has plenty of pockets for organization. I only buy bags with a shoulder strap as I don't want to carry a purse in my hands at all times. My concern is that the shoulder strap is way too long. Even on the shortest hole, it hangs way down at my hip - and I'm quite tall. Then the long end of the strap that's left past the buckle tends to flap and bend and gets in the way. I wish I could cut if off! Also, the slick leather of the strap always slides off my shoulder and I'm constantly having to retrieve it.

I bought this purse in the darker color, and it amazes me how beautiful this purse is. I had originally purchased the Maddox bucket purse, and while it is a gorgeous purse I found that it was a little TOO fancy for me. I exchanged it for this one (my second choice) and as soon as I took the Maddox Flap out of the box I knew I had made the right decision. This purse is very casual, yet high quality. It has a twist buckle to open, and two roomy pockets on the inside. On the outside (back) of the purse is an additional roomy pocket with a magnet clasp.I am able to fit my wallet (checkbook length), a small make up bag, and a dayplanner in, with plenty of room to spare. Since I am a little under the weather I even have a bag of cough drops tucked in there. There is room for a kindle as well. The strap is slightly stiff, but not too bad; and of course it is quite long (which one would expect from a crossbody). My strap is at the shortest length, and the purse goes down slightly above my knees (I am 5'3).All in all, this is the perfect casual yet classy purse. I will be using it for a long time.
