The Frye Company is the oldest continuously operated shoe company in the United States. Founded in 1863 by John A. Frye, a well-to-do shoemaker from England, and family-run until 1945, Frye products have a long and illustrious history. Carson as riding boot rises right to the knee, with a scoop collar for easy dismounts. Square panel at top is framed by tall pulls and securing brass button. I love Frye boots. They are made so well and the color is beautiful. The shape of the toe is flattering. I generally wear a size 8 or 8.5 but purchased these in a size 8. They fit perfectly.

These boots are just gorgeous. Soft and suple. The Antique Cognac leather is so rich looking. I would recommend scuffing up the bottoms a bit before wearing out the first time, as they are slippery.
