I am a professional seamstress and was considering making about a dozen of these for an upcoming 50's Show. I ordered one in burgundy to see the quality. I am telling you I can not make this dress for the price I bought it for! I only wish the dress came in more satin colors. The bodice was slightly long for me because I am only 5'2" but I can easily adjust that. The skirt length is perfect for my height. For the taller girls I know this would be too short. The fabric is just what I wanted for a stage show, shiny! I steamed the dress and it looks great. I can't wait to put a crinoline under it. By the way, it came very quickly in the mail. Good stuff.
