Got these boots yesterday (ordered brown and black leather). I'm wearing the black ones today. I'm a bit over 5'10", regular sized calf, big girl (size 16 clothes, to give an idea of the weight w/out throwing it out there). These boots come up to about 2.5-3" below my knee and zip up perfectly around my 16" calfs (widest part). The heel is just enough to show you're wearing a heel, but not so much that your dogs are killing you at the end of day. At work, I have a standing desk, so I'm on my feet most of the day (sitting intermittedly) and do a lot of walking back and forth to copy room....These boots are holding up well and I'm very comfortable. I'm wearing them with my M. Kors python pencil skirt, black sweater, leather jacket and scarf. So you KNOW i'm smelling myself today...holla! lol...I'm so glad I got these. And I love that they have a good bit of friction on the bottom so I'm not sliding on on our tiled floors at work, though I DO miss that they don't make the notorious "clicking" sound when I walk b/c the heel has the rubber tip bottom. But when I"m NOT busting my a** on the ice outside during the new england winter, I'm sure I won't be regretting that rubber bottom. The tie-up bow on the back is adorable. The zip up sides make them so easy to put on and take off. These will be a regular wear this winter.9/20/12 - just want to mention, after loving the black leather ones so much, i now have the brown leather, elephant suede and brown suede as well. the rubber tip fell off one of the heels of my black leather pair, i'm still wearing them (today, in fact!), but will get a new pair for this winter.

I first ordered these boots from Zappos.com and ordered the "wide calf" version in a size 11, medium width. I figured I needed wide calf because my calves were 17" circumpherence and about 95% of the boots in stores I could not get zipped up all the way because of my calves. The description also said that they had a 17" circcumpherence at the opening. I got them in, tried them on, and found that the boots were at least 2" bigger around than my calves. They looked rediculous any way I wore them other than with regular jeans tucked inside, because that was all that would take up some of the extra room, and then it made me look like I had elephant legs. I measured them and they actually did have a 19" circumpherence. I returned those and since Zappos no longer carried them, I ordered these regular-width-calf from the site. Since the original boots, I've lost an inch in my calves, making them 16" around. These boots fit perfectly. They are form-fitting, but don't cut off circulation to my feet, and there's a small elastic wedge in the top of the boot, which makes it possible to tuck leggings into them.The calf diameter given by the manufacturer is for a size 8, so expect to add on about 3/4 inch circumpherence for every size larger than that (not sure about smaller sizes.)Also, these boots have a cute little heel that is feminine, but not so tall that I feel like I'm going to sprain my ankle (aperantly very hard to find in a boot these days!) I've worn them to school a couple times now, which involves walking around a rather large college campus, and so far they are very comfortable and I haven't had any problems with blisters or rubbing on the ball of my foot or the back of my heel like I do with just about every other pair of heels I've ever worn! I'm considering buying another pair in the oxford brown before they're gone, they're just awesome boots.

These boots are very, very nice! I have been looking for some "Real" Dark Brown Suede Boots for a while. Either, the heel was too high, or they were not real suede leather boots. But, when I stumbled on these boots, I knew I wouldn't be able to find this style of boot again. Before I bought these boots, I called Natualizer Customer Service Rep. to locate this color in the U.S., "THEY DIDN'T HAVE THEM IN ANY OF THEIR STORES". They only had the "Elephant Grey". These boots were pricey, but these were the only boots that fit the style I was looking for. The heel size is just right. They are very comfortable and they look nice with Skinny Jeans or Brown Leggings. The shaft is not too wide, because I have small legs. I just love these boots!
