I tried about a dozen more expensive sandals and ended up with these. I'm really happy with them. They do run large -- I'm a true 8M, I ordered both the 7.5 & 8, kept the 7.5 (plenty of length) -- but not wide. So far, I've commuted in them a few times (walking & subway) and been on my feet all day at work, and no blisters! I love that they're flexible, so they don't pull on your ankle, and the buckle covers my ankle bone, not below or above it, so it doesn't cut in, either. The gold color is well-represented by the photo -- more of a brassy-bronzy-not-too-dark color -- and the leather has a kind of crackle finish which catches the light. Color- and style-wise, they go with everything.

This is my favorite style of sandal but I had to send these back. They were horribly uncomfortable... the strap across the foot was positioned strangely and it cut into my big toe joint something fierce. Also, the strap across the foot was wider than I would have liked and it made them look somewhat clunky and wide. Not what I expected from a Nine West shoe. I do not recommend.

I love the sandals, pink color and style. I'm not sure I will keep them because the band around the front of the sandal is a little snug and I'm not sure it's going to be very comfortable. I'm afraid they will give me blisters. I don't have a wide foot, so I'm not sure what's the problem. I'm going to try wearing them around the house a little to see if they will stretch out.
