My 7 year old daughter wore this dress to school as a costume for Laura Ingalls. We orderd the size small (6-8) and it worked well. The sizing is generous, we actually needed to hem it so that it wouldn't drag on the ground (my daughter is 50th percentie for height for her age). I would say that it is a great costume for the price, we were qutie happy with it.

This dress is adorable. However the material is not 100% cotton and therefore does not feel or appear entirely historically accurate. Perfect for a school play.

My daughter wanted to be Laura Ingalls for Halloween. I searched high and low for a costume that didn't break the bank. We finally "settled" for this one. I was VERY happy we did! It was adorable in person and she loved it. Can't beat the price either!
