Yes, buying shoes via the Internet is risky. While I had tried on many pairs of Skechers and thought that 9 was the right size for me for sandals, these were tight and the straps were harsh, even stretching them would not have softened them. Fortunately, there is a Beall's just ten minutes away and I was able to return them, losing only the shipping $. And I found a pair of Skecher thongs in-store that fit and are comfortable!
