I don't know why they insist on building water shoes with removable insoles. That's fine for a shoe, but after my son runs around with them and swims with them soaking wet for weeks, eventually the lining starts pulling up and slipping and annoying him. I'm not unhappy with the product, since most water shoes I've seen have this issue, these are as good otherwise as others we have bought, but come on, this is a Speedo product, you think they could build a shoe designed for the water.

I bought these for my 5 year old and so far the shoes have held up. The only issue is the zipper doesn't stay completely zipped up. The material is durable since he used it at our town pool (he scratched up his feet on the pool bottom). I bought a pair at Sports Authority last year and they tore at the first use but they were only $10 while these shoes maybe more expensive they hold up pretty well. The size is true to size.

I am an adult, but have small feet so I ordered this kids water sock because the price was right. I usually wear a 5.5 in women's and ordered a 4 in kids. I probably could have gone for a 3, but even though they were a little too large, I didn't have any trouble keeping them on while tubing in a shallow river. I was happy to have cut free feet, compared to my friends who weren't wearing water socks!
