I usually wear a 9.5-10, but Tsubo runs a bit long and wide, so the 9 fits perfectly. However, these shoes work well with narrow feet because the velcro strap across the ankle really holds your foot and keeps it from slipping like so many uncomfortable women's heeled shoes. The heel gives you quite a bit of height without sacrificing style. I especially love how the leather around the back of the ankle is seperate from the sole itself, so that the shoe flexes instead of your ankle slipping up and down the back of the shoe. The last great bit is the slightly rounded toe, so that your toes never touch the front of the shoe. I can't work in these if I plan to walk to lunch at work, but they are great short-term shoes.

I wanted to invest in a few solidly made pair of shoes. I purchased two pair of Acrea: black & dark red. If I could give them six stars on comfort, I would. I can wear them all day at work and well into the evening, which is huge with my fallen arches and arthritis. They feel like tennis shoes. I also have narrow feet but didn't have the problem the other reviewer had. As with any shoe, I guess you must try them and see.The red Acrea's color was blotchy when they arrived like the dye didn't take evenly. They immediately started to discolor/lighten, show even the slightest scuffs (from carpeted stairs, etc) and look like older worn out shoes. This is big disappointment when you spend $130 on shoes.I love them and receive many comments from strangers on the street, just beware with the lighter colors.

I got these in black.First of all - this pair is among the most well-made shoes I've ever seen. The materials and the workmanship are very high quality. The heel balance is perfect, the platform gives plenty of support, the inner padding is generous, the leather - inside and out- is soft, and the pink lining is adorable.Second, these are the most comfortable pair of heels I have ever worn. Over the last few years I have given up wearing heels due mainly to back and leg problems - sciatica, muscle spasms, and so forth. Big sacrifice for me, as I love shoes and in my salad days had quite the collection of four-inch spikes (ah, New York in the '70s.) I came across the Acrea while window-surfing one day, and thought I'd try again just to be sure.Well.Right out of the box, I wore them to a four hour gospel music festival. Normally, I would have worn flats but these were just so cute I couldn't resist. I was on my feet for most of the concert - dancing, stomping, and carrying on - and had absolutely no back or leg pain, either during the event or the next day. I have to confess that I did slip them off in the car on the way home.Since then, I've worn them to work at least twice a week, to church on Sundays, and out with my husband in the evenings. No pain, no problems, no nothing. I wouldn't and couldn't possibly have done that any other pair of heels.Oh - and they look as good with suits and dresses as they do with premium denim.Love these unreservedly.
