This is the best shoe for walking on asphalt or concrete. I walk 4 miles every morning and sometimes in the afternoon on hilly terrain.I have worn the Velocity since it first came on the market it is the only one I will buy. This shoe is also Gortex so it is water repellent.Happy walking! Luckily purple and fushia are my favorite colors.

I first spotted this shoe on display and the color caught my eye immediately. I tried it on and it fit beautifully. So instead of buying it right then and there , I waited. I finally decided to make the purchase and I have NOT been disappointed at all. I took them out of the box, put them on and they were instantly my favorite. They fit perfectly and feel great, soft, supportive and look really nice too. I have had them for about two weeks, I have hiked, ran, played football with my three sons, soccer, baseball etc, and they still look brand new. My young son spilled iced tea on them and I didn't feel a thing. These are great shoes. I just wish they weren't so expensive because now I am sitting here debating if I should buy the red and gray pair so I will have a choice everyday.
