Very cute look just as they did online but they run kind of small so get one size up , but overall excellent

Okay I'll say it - these shoes are a bit odd. I noticed the back zipper in the photo and thought it was unusual but what the heck. In actuality the zipper doesn't zip up neatly at the top, so there's a sharp little "V" in the back. My daughter didn't complain but I worried she'd end up with scratches (she wore them only 30 minutes when I took them out of the box.) The shoes are cut small and snug so you need those zippers to get them on, too. I did not notice from the photo that the laces are grosgrain ribbon - too short to double knot and a regular bow slips out of its own accord. I looked for regular laces locally but can't find them short enough for toddler shoes. When my daughter gets dressed I keep passing these over, and so does she.
