Fell in love with costume at first site, unfortunately one size doesn't fit all! and I'm not a big girl, I'm an average size. If you plan to buy this costume I would say you mostly likely need to have a dress size 6 or less for it to fit. I'm a size 8 (and the package says size 10). Hope this info helps!

I agree with the previous review. I generally wear a size 6. This dress won't fit me, even with the best undergarments to help things out. The fabric isn't stretchy. I fear that I'll bend over and rip a seam. It feels cheap, and the shoulder straps don't work with the size zipper. I had great hopes- but it is a no go.

In fact, I'd say it's closer to a size 6 and a small 6 at that. My hips measure 35" and though the sheath dress goes over there's not much, if any room, to spare.The costume is very well made, form fitting and sexy but longer so it covers you nicely - not like so many of those other super short flapper costumes. Great movement with all the fringe! The side zip is a bonus to help you get in and out of the dress, totally unexpected for a costume. The shoulder straps are a bit on the flimsy side but can be reinforced easily enough. The feather on the headdress is adequate but only one side of the headband is glittery with the back being plain black elastic.Wore this to a dinner and murder-game party and it held up through the night very nicely!
