We received these boots on Dec. 1, 2012. It is now Jan. 12, 2013 and both boots have cracked on the top side near where the ball of the foot is. I am contacting the manufacturer and will update this review if they are responsive.*Update* I contacted Kamik via email, and they were very cooperative. Today (Jan. 24, 2013) I received a new pair of the boots I ordered at no cost to me. I hope they will last! I of course will update my review if they do not, but for now I'm hoping the previous pair was some sort of fluke.

So far these boots are great. They are a nice quality feeling rubber, neither flimsy, nor too heavy. My daughter easily takes them on and off and I think they are going to last nicely for my son to wear next.
